Our exclusive event rooms offer diverse possibilities: Be it banquet,
reception, or conference, we would be delighted to advise you and take
charge of the organization of your event at the Museum. All rooms are
located in the baroque "Kollegienhaus" next to the renowned new
building designed by the architect Daniel Libeskind. Equipped with the
latest in technology, our rooms provide an authentic historical setting
for your event.
Opened in autumn 2007, Daniel Libeskind's Glass Courtyard modelled on the design "Sukkah" (Hebrew for " thatched booth") offers room for extraordinary events of up to 650 people. The glass roof spanning the 650 square meters of the inner courtyard of the baroque building is supported by four free standing pillars. The glass front of the light-flooded room can be widely opened and offers a view over the spacious museum garden.
Behind the museum building an oasis of greenery in the heart of the city awaits the visitor. Landscaped by the internationally famous architects Hans Kollhoff and Arthur Ovaska, the museum garden extends over a spacious 3,000 square meters and with its pergola, meadow with crabapple trees and copse of sycamores is a perfect setting for events of all kinds.
The multifunctional Great Hall on the second level can accommodate up to 200 people - seating is variable. It was equipped with a top-quality sound system and well-balanced acoustics in 2011. Facilities for darkening the room make daytime events with visual media presentations possible.
On the first level of the Baroque Old Building, an attractive wall design catches the eye in the Education Room. The elegant parquet floors and large Baroque windows create a pleasant atmosphere for day and evening events.
Centrally located on ground level of the Old Building, the Auditorium offers all the technical requirements for conferences and other events. It is pleasantly lit and boasts a view of the extensive gardens. The auditorium provides a balanced ambience for a concentrated working atmosphere and relaxing breaks.
