Charity Concert with Raphael Wallfisch and John York
Since 2004, the Jewish Museum's Archive has offered workshops for young people to explore the lives and fates of German-Jewish families during the Nazi era through original documents and encounters with German-Jewish witnesses.

The internationally renowned duo Raphael Wallfisch (cello) und John York
(piano) are supporters of this project. Raphael Wallfisch, whose mother
Anita Lasker Wallfisch has given accounts as a witness at several
workshops, and his partner John York present a program to commemorate
Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's 200th birthday and the 50th anniversary of
Ernest Bloch's death with works for cello and piano.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the archive's educational program.
