Assaf Gavron & Eshkol Nevo
Read by August Zirner, moderation by Shelly Kupferberg

Modern Israel provides the backdrop for the suspense-packed stories written by two Israeli authors whose débuts caused quite a stir. In his current novel "Hydromania," Assaf Gavron tells of the murderous struggle for water and of an Israel in which Palestinians have assumed power. Eshkol Nevo describes the coexistence of Jews and Palestinians in his novel "Homesick" (German title "Vier Häuser und eine Sehnsucht"). The constant change of perspective in the book is moving.
