The film tells the story of three Jewish children who went into hiding during the Second World War. Eva Kuper only found her rescuer 62 years later. A nun had hidden the girl in a Polish convent. Fred Taucher survived in Berlin amidst the Nazis and his rescuer was a friend of Hitler’s. And Lore Baer was just five years old when her parents hid her with Dutch farmers. A story about the trauma of being separated from parents, about loneliness and great fear, but also about the will to survive in a sinister era.

A film by Kaspar-Film, Munich and Hessian Radio
