At 28, the pianist – born in Israel and living in Paris – is among the most fascinating figures of the young jazz scene. Yaron Herman’s style reflects the influence of jazz musicians and pianists such as Lennie Tristano, Paul Bley, and Keith Jarrett, but also pop stars such as Björk, and Leonard Cohen, classical composers such as Debussy and Ravel, and last but not least the folklore of his home country.

Yaron Herman (piano), Matt Brewer (bass), Gerald Cleaver (drums)
