The first love, the first laugh, the first dream, and other first times in the Bible – Meir Shalev traces the "firsts" in the Bible with psychological sensitivity, wit, but also respect for the text.
Who gave whom the first kiss? What brought about the first laugh and the first tears? Who felt the first hatred? Meir Shalev portrays with great wit the people who had the good fortune or bad luck to experience these firsts.
The author, who lives in Jerusalem, reached a wide German readership with his novel "The Loves of Judith." The actor André Kaminski, known for his role in the TV series "Alles was zählt," will read from Meir Shalev’s new book.

Reading in German and Hebrew.

Organized in cooperation with the Literaturhandlung.
