SUMMARY:An Audio Book Presentation by the "Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg" (rbb)
DESCRIPTION:An Audio Book Presentation by the "Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg" (rbb)\n\nThe rbb editor Magdalena Kemper interviewed survivors of the Shoah for the program "Das Gespräch" (The conversation) over a period spanning decades. In the conversations, the survivors tell of fear and loss, but also of new beginnings and unexpected happiness. The journalist Susanne von Paczensky longed for golden curls and the author Inge Deutschkron looks back in the knowledge that "home is where the heart is." Out of these conversations, a moving and manifold portrait of German-Jewish history in the 20th and 21st century has emerged. In collaboration with Der Audio Verlag, rbb now presents a selection of these unique audio documents as an audio book.\n\n\nAt the presentation of the audio book, Margot Friedländer, Salomea Genin and Gerhard Baader will share their recollections.\n\nOrganized in cooperation with rbb and Der Audio Verlag.\n\n\nWhen: 18 March 2013, 7 pm\n\nWhere: Jewish Museum Berlin, Lindenstraße 9-14, 10969 Berlin, Old Building, ground level, Auditorium\n\nAdmission: free\n\nTicket reservation: +49 (0)30 259 93 488 oder, reservierung@jmberlin.de, \n\nContact: Julia Jürgens, Tel: +49 (0)30 259 93 353, Fax: +49 (0)30 259 93 330, j.juergens@jmberlin.de\n\nFor further information, see http://www.jmberlin.de/main/EN/02-Events/Events_2013/2013_03_18_rbb.php
