Friday (31.1.):
Arrival in Prague (leaving Berlin Central Station at 08:46, arriving in Prague at 13:27), optional: city tour, group meal

Saturday (1.2.):
Visit the Terezín Memorial, group lunch

Sunday (2.2.):
Tour through the Jewish Museum Prague and the Jewish quarter, return to Berlin (leaving Prague at 16:29, arriving Berlin Central Station at 21:15)

The history of the Terezín Ghetto is a focus of the spring program of the both the museum and Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin. Marking the performance of Verdi’s Requiem Mass that will be staged as a concert drama entitled "Defiant Requiem" on 4 March 2014, we are organising a cultural trip to Prague and Terezín.

On this three-day trip, you will visit the Terezín Ghetto Memorial with the program director Cilly Kugelmann. Guided tours and talks by memorial guides will provide insights into the "exception ghetto" and its particular history. In Prague, you will explore the city’s Jewish quarter with staff from the local Jewish Museum.

Cost: from 325 euros per person including train ride from Berlin Central Station, 2 nights in a double room with breakfast in a centrally located ****star hotel, transfers, and entrance fees as well as two group meals.

Not included in the price are: further dinner / lunch, optional city tour on Friday afternoon, tips, travel insurance, personal expenses, single room supplement of 49 euros.
