Doron Segal

Doron Segal began studying piano at the age of seven at the Karmiel Music Conservatory in northern Israel. After his brother got him interested in jazz at the age of 16, Doron played in various jazz projects, competitions, and bands in Israel. At the age of 21, he started at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem with Avi Adrian and Yuval Cohen. At his graduation, Doron was awarded a scholarship for excellence by the IUPA. At the end of 2014, Doron moved to Berlin to start his own trio and has since become part of the Berlin music scene.

Doron Segal’s mature own compositions and multi-facetted arrangements will be released on CD for the first time this year.
