JERUSALEM: The City of Two Peaces – the Heavenly and the Mundane

A Prelude to the New Special Exhibition

His elaborately designed programs and audio books have not only introduced a large audience to historical performance practice, but he is also a dedicated humanist who builds bridges to other cultures and is committed to helping create lasting peace worldwide.

Livestream of the Concert

Marking the opening of the Jerusalem exhibition on 10 December 2017, the museum is inviting Jordi Savall with the Hespèrion Ensemble XXI and the Capella Reial de Catalunya as well as guest musicians from Israel, Palestine, Syria, Armenia, Greece, and Turkey to the Pierre Boulez Hall. Accompanying the exhibition, the concert takes listeners on a musical journey through the history of Jerusalem.

A small surprise awaits members of the »Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin« on the evening.

With the kind support of Siemens AG.

There will be a live broadcast of the concert on ARTE Concert (concert.arte.tv) and at a later time it will be shown on ARTE.
