The German National Youth Jazz Orchestra under the artistic direction of Niels Klein will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the BAUHAUS Art Movement with a spectacular cineastic concert program. Eight selected and freshly restored short films by Bauhaus protagonists of the 1920s and 1930s were set to music for this concert project by contemporary German and American jazz composers – pieces for big band and vocal ensemble arose from the project and these will accompany the films performed live by the exceptional young jazz musicians.
