After focusing on the model of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in June, the next exclusive curator-guided tour of the exhibition Welcome to Jerusalem will give you a chance to learn all about Jerusalem’s history from the nineteenth century to the early twentieth century. During that period, as the city caught the eye of European interests and a large wave of immigration began, its significance was no longer just religious, but increasingly political.
Together with the curator, Margret Kampmeyer, you will learn the history preceding the conflict over Jerusalem through selected thematic rooms and their artifacts.
