Day Trip
to the Jewish Museum of Franconia in Fuerth

An Event for Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin

You are cordially invited to join us on a visit to the recently reopened Jewish Museum of Franconia in the town of Fuerth with its charming half-timbered buildings. The museum has a reputation across Europe for its extensive Judaica collection, its historic sukkah, and its mikvah. The museum has recently added an annex, giving it plenty of space for additional exhibitions. The first exhibit to inaugurate the annex, Cherchez la Femme, was originally curated at the Jewish Museum Berlin. This trip will give you a chance to rediscover it.

During a tour of the town, we will learn more about Jewish life their past and present and explore the Old Town with its charming half-timbered buildings and winding alleyways. Finally, we will climb the town hall tower to see a panorama of Fuerth, also known as the Jerusalem of Franconia.
