Dress Rehearsal #1 Hide & Seek

Insights for Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin (multilingual)

Founded in 2003, the stage school ACADEMY has been offering young people the opportunity to conquer the stage since then. A musical theater performance with refugees and Berlin youths was created with the support of five artists in January and is now being developed further in cooperation with the Jewish Museum Berlin. The young people wander through the museum’s impressive architecture and an interactive performance evolves.

The dress rehearsal is not a public performance and there may be occasional interruptions that will provide very special insights into the project’s creation process. After the performance, director Rachel Hameleers will tell us about this creation process and the background of the performance.
