ANOHA – The Children’s World at the Jewish Museum Berlin

Guided Tour for Friends and Sponsors (in German)

On 17 May 2020, we will welcome another member to our museum family with the new children’s museum ANOHA. ANOHA takes the Torah story of Noah’s Ark as its starting point for a journey into the future. The heart of the children’s museum is a huge wooden ark with over 150 different animals – and the children themselves. ANOHA invites children to ponder on a respectful coexistence of humans, animals, and nature and encourages them to create their own visions of a diverse and better world.

The opening of ANOHA in the W. Michael Blumenthal Academy creates a permanent play and learning space for our youngest visitors and aims to appeal to all children and families. A guided tour with Ane Kleine-Engel, director of the Children’s Museum, and Gelia Eisert provide exciting insights into the creation of this unique museum and its extraordinary architecture.
