Guided Tour for Children Aged 6-11 on Jerusalem's Religious Significance
In Jerusalem, the shofar horn is blown for the Jewish New Year. Every day, church bells ring and the voices of different muezzins sing the Muslim call to prayer.
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are present in daily Jerusalem life. Beginning with the Jewish Temple, the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Muslim Al-Aqsa Mosque, the tour explores the city of Jerusalem’s significance for these three major religions – examining rituals such as prayer, the Stations of the Cross, and what happens to the thousands of notes pressed into the cracks of the Western Wall.
