The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem can be currently found in model form in the Welcome to Jerusalem exhibition. We have the special opportunity of discovering the model’s details with Dr. Ing. Karl Schmitt-Korte.
Thanks to his collecting passion, he has come to possess a unique model of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre that provides an authentic view of this church in the days of the crusaders. The true-to-scale architectural model can be taken apart to reveal impressive perspectives.

Dr. Karl Schmitt-Korte will allow us exclusive insights into the interior of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The chapel in particular, which was built over the remains of the actual rock tomb, and the so-called aedicula come to light through the model.
