In the Jewish Museum Berlin

Explore the new core exhibition on Jewish past and present in Germany and immerse yourself in the Age of Enlightenment in the exhibition “We dreamed of nothing but Enlightenment” – Moses Mendelssohn. It presents the life and work of self-made intellectual Moses Mendelssohn in the context of the contemporaneous and present-day discourse on human rights, freedom of expression and tolerance.

On this day, free tours will be offered through the new core exhibition and the “We dreamed of nothing but Enlightenment” – Moses Mendelssohn exhibition. Please register in advance online.

The International Museum Day is an annual event held on the 3rd Sunday in May. Many museums take part with special offers.

In ANOHA

A free guided adult tour of ANOHA, the Childrenʼs World of the Jewish Museum Berlin, includes a look at the arkʼs impressive wooden structure and 150 artist-designed animal sculptures. Questions on the Noahʼs Ark story, which Judaism, Christianity and Islam share, will be answered along with questions on the educational concept and ANOHAʼs sustainable and innovative design. Please register in advance online.
