Shadow Puppetry in the Turkish Karagöz Style – in German, Hebrew, and Turkish
Premiere & Introductory Discussion for Members of Friends of the Museum and their Families (in German)
In October, the Theater Tiyatrom, located just a stone’s throw from the museum, is putting on a production by the Jewish Museum Berlin: Us Animals from Noah’s Ark. Through the shadow puppetry format, artists from a variety of cultural backgrounds enact, discuss, and investigate a new interpretation of the biblical story of the Great Flood. More about the play on the event page...
In an introductory discussion with Turkish tea and baklava, you will learn about the history and background of the venue and the project.
