Guy Mintus Trio

Jazz in the Garden – Cultural Summer Program

New York-based Israeli jazz pianist Guy Mintusis is considered a young talent and has already played with great musicians including Trilok Gurtu, Jon Hendricks, and Arturo O’Farrill. His music has its own signature, mixing elements from the early days of jazz with Indian rhythms, Spanish flamenco, and Jewish tunes:

“I don’t take much notice of genres because for me, everything is interconnected. Jazz today is always about expression and experimentation.” You can hear that on his lastest album Connecting the Dots – the Jazz in the Garden concert promises to be a celebration of the freedom of jazz!
