Jerusalem: A Cooking Class in FOUR Courses

An Event for Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin

The event series Jerusalem: A Cooking Class in FOUR Courses is in its final round. Befitting the season, we will turn to baking and get to know the craft of Jerusalem baked goods. Jerusalem is well-known for its bakeries, which have visitors marveling with open mouths at every corner. From sufganiot, which are surprisingly similar to typical Berlin jelly doughnuts, to baklava, which is popular year-round, the city has no shortage of specialties.

Birgitt Claus and Omer Selim will bring the fragrance of Jerusalem bakeries to the Jewish Museum Berlin. Birgitt Claus’s chosen baked delicacy for the evening is a surprise. Suffice it to say, it will be a crowning achievement. And naturally, there will once again be savory food for contrast.
