Long Night of Museums 2018
We were inspired by the hustle and bustle of the Mahane Yehuda market and life on the streets and squares of Jerusalem with street food, cocktails, and oriental DJ beats for this Long Night of Museums. Cult series from and about Jerusalem are showing on the screens – Arab Labor focuses on the cultural gap between the Arab and Jewish worlds and the sitcom Srugim follows the lives and loves of friends from the Modern Orthodox milieu.
Guided tours, games, and performances are dedicated to the Berlin-wide Long Night theme of stairs. Upstairs and downstairs through the museum, performance artists Adi Liraz and Hori Izhaki talk about their personal journey from Jerusalem to Berlin in Up.Side.Down.
