NO!art and the Denial of the Art Market

Panel Discussion

The radical NO! of Boris Lurie's work challenges the art world, consumerism, and a humanity that was capable of the expulsion and mass murder of millions. Since Lurie's diagnosis of the "investment art markets," this phenomenon has accelerated. In a discussion with our head of collections Inka Bertz, curator Wulf Herzogenrath, and further guests, Julia Voss (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) asks about the nature of Lurie's radicalism and its significance for contemporary art.

One of the accompanying events for the No Compromises! The Art of Boris Lurie exhibition.
