The core exhibition tells the story of Jews in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present day from a Jewish perspective with new focuses and a fresh scenography.

Which is the oldest object, which the most valuable? What is sacred in Judaism? And since when has Antisemitism existed?

On this tour of the exhibition, you will experience true museum highlights with us – immerse yourself in the heart of our museum collection, the family estates, go on an acoustic search for traces, decipher medieval documents, and delve deeper into 21st century media. You will follow turbulent Jewish history between exclusion and belonging and learn how Jews see their Jewish identity today.

The exhibition tour is suitable for visitors interested in an initial overview of the core exhibition.
