Crowning our year in architecture, let’s return to the origins of the Bauhaus – back to the school itself, to view the unfinished objects in their preliminary state. We will view prototypes that were groundbreaking and unprecedented in their time, and come to understand the legendary institution in its primary role: as an art school.
In cooperation with the Berlinische Galerie, the Bauhaus-Archiv is presenting well-known and forgotten Bauhaus originals. Centering on fourteen objects, the exhibition explores case studies that we will explore in greater depth together with Adriana Kapsreiter, a research associate of the Bauhaus-Archiv.
