Dealing with Nazi Looted Art and the Gurlitt Case. Audio recording of the book Presentation with Stefan Koldehoff and Michael Naumann
Dealing with Nazi-looted art in Germany is a scandal. An unholy alliance of inadequate laws, possessors of looted art with no sense of wrongdoing, dealers, museums, auction houses, and gallery owners ensures that trading with pictures from Nazi-looted art still continues today.
Stefan Koldehoff wrote an "outstandingly well-researched" (Götz Aly) standard work on Nazi-looted art in 2009. The book was highly praised, but none of the problems described therein have been solved. Now the book is available in a new edition, updated and expanded to include a detailed chapter on the Gurlitt case. It has a greater sense of urgency.
