An "Egyptian salad" is how the filmmaker Nadia Kamel describes her own extended family, which unites different religions and cultures together in love. When she becomes conscious that her little nephew Nabil is growing up in a time in which conflicts between cultures and religions are on the increase, she decides to show him the diversity of their own family.
