This year’s summer garden party is all about Eastern European and Yiddish culture.
While a traditional Jewish cabaret follows the "Chernivtsi – Berlin" path and children search for the hole in the bagel at the bakery, the Aletchko quartet plays a wild mix of Yiddish songs, Russian melodies, and flamenco guitar.
Interactive stands in the garden invite visitors great and small to make a matryoshka mask, have a souvenir photo taken, and solve a Yiddish word puzzle. To accompany these fun activities, the Masel Topf team will be offering "unkosher delights" and Polish Thursday Dinners specialties from its Polish pop-up-fusion cuisine. At the Wolfarth chocolate stand, you can mix three basic ice cream flavors and fresh fruit to make your own personal ice cream!
