Through the Museum with an App: Scavenger Hunt 2.0

2017 Summer Vacation Program for Kids at the Jewish Museum Berlin (in German)

The summer vacation program is designed for children aged 7 to 10 and offers a day of excitement with games, a scavenger hunt, a picnic, and creative activities about time and the cosmos.

Our hunt begins in outer space. And to prepare you for adventure, we’ll equip you with tablets. How are the sun, the moon, and the earth connected to the way we measure and count time? And how come we’re already starting the year 5778 in September? You’ll find out!

Going back to Mother Earth, you’ll blaze a path straight through the museum to the nearby jungle – I mean, garden. With the Actionbound app, you’ll have lots of tricky puzzles to solve, items to search for, and uncharted territory to discover. Your mission also includes taking lots of cool pictures with the tablet camera.

At the end of the scavenger hunt, you’ll design your own calendar using all the snapshots and selfies. In the future, it will remind you of important birthdays and plans – and a great summer day at the Jewish Museum Berlin.

We can’t wait!
