The Torah contains some 613 commandments and prohibitions. Known as mitzvot (singular: mitzvah), these shape Jewish life in large and small ways from the daily routine to holidays. What are these rules and what are they for? How many Jews eat kosher food? What does that mean for them? Are all male Jews circumcised? Why does the groom break a glass at a Jewish wedding?

The answers are as diverse as Judaism itself. The focus of this themed tour can either be placed on everyday life or on the life cycle from birth to death.
