Shabbat. A Feast Day Every Week

Guided Tour and Workshop with Traditional Bread Baking (in German)

This guided tour for children from the age of 6 offers a first glimpse into Jewish life and Jewish traditions.

Friday evening marks the beginning not only of the weekend but also of Shabbat. Many Jews celebrate the start of this weekly day of rest with a shared family meal. The table is beautifully set with two candles, wine, and two loaves of braided challah bread.

After the guided tour we will bake these braided »Challot« breads in our workshop kitchen – and afterwards we'll enjoy them together.

Have a nice weekend or: Schabbat Schalom!
