Through the Museum in Seven-League Boots

Guided Tour for Adults (in German)

Two corridors with dark slate floors and white walls; one leading to the right featuring a display cabinet; the other leading to the left towards a door to the Garden of Exile; the walls between the corridors feature city names like Istanbul or London

This tour seeks out selected locations and themes that highlight the primary features of the exhibition and offers visitors an overview of the history of Jewish settlements and culture in Germany from late antiquity through the present.

Every Sunday at 11 am (until 10 December 2017)

Libeskind Building, permanent exhibition

Lindenstraße 9–14, 10969 Berlin

The tour begins with a glance at the architecture: from the original baroque structure of the former Superior Court of Justice, the path proceeds into the remarkable Daniel Libeskind building through its network of underground axes. Then, in the museum, we broaden our view of how the exhibition itself is linked to the artistic design of the building. We will also show you selected objects from various time periods, each exhibited in the context of its cultural history, that invite you to linger in the exhibition.
