Scripture, Holidays, and Prohibitions

We take a look at a Torah scroll from the early nineteenth century as well as a Quran. In the process, we ponder the significance of religious scriptures. What holidays are celebrated? Is the Islamic prohibition against consuming pork similar to Jewish kosher cooking?
The tour, tailored to the participants, demonstrates the multiplicity within both faiths and individual differences in the form, practice, and conception of religion.
