What impact does the story of Sinti and Roma who survived the Holocaust, have on future generations? As part of Romnja* Power Month, we are showing the documentary Tschi hi bistermen – Nichts ist vergessen (Nothing Is Forgotten, 2020) for the first time.

Film still from the documentary Tschi hi bistermen – Nichts ist vergessen (Nothing Is Forgotten); Anita Awosusi, Marco Guttenberger 2020
In this film project, daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters meet to exchange their parents’, grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ experiences. Three generations of women talk about their family relationships, their longing for normality, and their feelings of guilt that were repressed for years as the offspring of Holocaust survivors. The film will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Anita Awosusi and two of the films’ protagonists, Maria Reinhardt and Christiane Reinhardt.
