We invite you to join us on the trail of 1920s Berlin to discover the large housing estate from the era of the Neues Bauen architecture movement.

We begin our trail in Berlin’s quarter Reinickendorf where we find the White City housing estate, which has gained international renown since it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. Jewish architect Bruno Ahrends and garden architect Ludwig Lesser were the initiators of the White City. We warmly invite you on a guided tour with the Society for the Study of the Life and Work of German-speaking Jewish Architects (Gesellschaft zur Erforschung des Lebens und Wirkens deutschsprachiger jüdischer Architekten e.V.) to learn more about the background. During the course of 2019, we will continue our trail in other Berlin districts.
