Visiting the Studio of Joachim Seinfeld

Event for Friends of the Museum

We are very pleased that the artist Joachim Seinfeld, who last year created an artwork for our vending machine and showed a selection of his works in our Golem exhibition, has agreed to open the doors of his studio for Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin. He will present his art to us and talk about his working process.

Last summer, the art vending machine in our permanent exhibition began what will for the time being be its last round of sales. For over four years now, it has surprised our visitors with a broad array of contemporary art in pocket-sized format. Its small-scale unique objects were created by Jewish artists living in Berlin. All artworks were created and hand-signed exclusively for the vending machine, and are available only in limited editions.
