The Golem Workshop

Workshop on the GOLEM Exhibition

This workshop allows children in preschool and above to create their own golems after visiting the exhibition. Afterschool groups are also warmly welcome!

Imagine you could bring inanimate material to life. The creature you have created will do anything you tell it to do. What should it do?

By appointment
Where

Old Building, ground level, Auditorium

Lindenstraße 9–14, 10969 Berlin

Discover all the different golems in the exhibition and experiment with other creatures in the workshop. After all, from Frankenstein to the Hulk to Minecraft, the golem lives on. And with it, all the fantasies that could plunge the world into chaos... or rescue it.

In our workshop, we’ll present you with various sides of the golem. Afterwards, we’ll invite you to discuss the golem and design and build a golem of your own. We have an assortment of recycled materials for you.
