Hallah cover

The Kiddush ("sanctification") is a Jewish ceremonial benediction indicating the beginning of the Sabbath and other major Jewish festivals. A blessing over wine is followed by a prayer acknowledging the sanctity of the day that is beginning. The Hebrew text for the wine blessing is embroidered on this hallah cover.
