The Board of Trustees of the Jewish Museum Berlin was called together by the German President on 27 November 2001.
Its members are:

Prof. Monika Grütters - Member of the Bundestag and executive board of the foundation Stiftung Brandenburger Tor der Bankgesellschaft Berlin

Prof. Dr. Salomon Korn - Vice-president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany

Hartmut Koschyk - Member of the German Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary at Federal Ministry of Finance

Dr. Michael Naumann - Former Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media

André Schmitz - State Secretary for Cultural Affairs

Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka - Federal Minister of Education and Research
