The special exhibition "Home and Exile. Jewish Emigration from Germany since 1933" focuses on the individual acts of assimilation by Jewish refugees and emigrés against the backdrop of the particular social, economic and political conditions in the receiving countries.

The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn and can be seen at the Jewish Museum Berlin from 29 September 2006 through 9 April 2007 (Old Kollegienhaus, 1st floor).
The Jewish Museum Berlin is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays until 10 p.m. (except: 2 October, 24 December).
