All About Freud

Freud Weekend at the Jewish Museum Berlin

Freud mit Blumenstrauß (Detail einer Szene von der Geburtstagstorte)
"Actually, I think all birthdays that do not end with a zero should be abolished."

On the theme of its special exhibition "PSYCHOanalysis. Sigmund Freud’s 150th Birthday," the Jewish Museum Berlin is devoting a whole weekend program to the founder of psychoanalysis. We shall examine to what extent his teachings have permeated all areas of life or how psychoanalytical methods can throw new light on our experiences: It’s about football and literature, Freud’s love letters, and last but not least the couch.
