The paintings that Eldar Farber is showing at the exhibition "How German is it? 30 Artists' Notion of Home" feature forest and park scenes and were created in Berlin and Israel.

"That is, it is suddenly clear that even in Tel Aviv these paintings imaged the German landscape. Alike but opposite, the Yarkon Park and the Tiergarten coexist in these paintings. To put it simply ... Farber paints Tel Aviv and Berlin as a diptych.  (From the catalogue for the exhibition "How German is it? 30 Artists' Notion of Home")

Eldar Farber was born in Israel in 1970 and lives and works in Tel Aviv und Berlin. His works can be viewed at www.alonsegevgallery.com
