Access Kafka

Public Guided Tour of the Exhibition (in Hebrew)

One hundred years after Franz Kafka’s death, the exhibition Access Kafka juxtaposes manuscripts, drawings and letters from Franz Kafka’s estate with contemporary works of art. The idea is to generate a dialog between Kafka’s oeuvre and artworks by Yael Bartana, Maria Eichhorn, Anne Imhof, Martin Kippenberger, Maria Lassnig, Trevor Paglen, Hito Steyerl, and other artists.

Drawing on selected works, the tour addresses the central question of this epoch- and genre-spanning encounter – one that goes to the heart of our society’s self-image: Is someone granted or denied access?
