Artist talk on the sound installation (in German)

Event for FRIENDS

In the sound installation Wulf, the Kids and the Forgotten Garden, presented in the garden of the House of the Wannsee Conference, a meeting takes center stage that never actually took place: Auschwitz survivor Joseph Wulf encounters the children who used the house as a school camp until 1988. In this poignant artistic work, the garden is reinterpreted as a site of memory.

As part of an artist talk, Yael Reuveny will present the sound installation and offer insights into her work. Yiddish fairy tales, historical texts, and recorded voices intertwine to create a multilayered soundscape exploring memory, repression, and responsibility.
