Stunned by the Attack on the Musée Juif de Belgique

Press Information

Press Release, Mon 26 May 2014

The Jewish Museum Berlin is shocked and appalled by the attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels which has caused grief and anger among our employees. Our thoughts go out to the victims of the attack and their relatives. We express our deepest sympathy to all of our colleagues at the Musée Juif de Belgique, with whom we have held close ties for many years. This act of violence does not only affect the deceased, their families and the staff of the museum, but all visitors who are interested in the history and culture of Judaism.
