Judaism and Islam
Continuing Education
This training program focuses on Judaism and Islam and their interconnections—including both their similarities and differences. We will discuss religion, faith, and ritual practices—as well as cultural identity—from a perspective that challenges discrimination.
The program includes a guided tour of the permanent exhibition at the Jewish Museum Berlin, as well as a group discussion on the everyday challenges faced by religious minorities in a secular, predominantly Christian society. There will also be an opportunity to discuss potential tensions and reservations, particularly in connection with the effects of the current conflicts in the Middle East and their impact on Jews and Muslims in Germany.
