Discussions and Tours (in German)
On the final day of Inventories: The Legacy of Salman Schocken, curators Martina Lüdicke and Monika Sommerer invite visitors to join them for discussions and tours of the exhibition. The newly published JMB Journal on Salman Schocken will also be presented!
Sun 12 Oct 2025, 10 am–3 pm

Where
Libeskind Building, ground level, Eric F. Ross Gallery
Lindenstraße 9–14, 10969 Berlin
The exhibition explores the cultural legacy of the publisher and department-store entrepreneur Salman Schocken. Through books and objects from the JMB collection, Joshua Cohen comments on the history of Salman Schocken’s publishing house, which he takes as a vantage point for a present-day perspective on culture and capital, department stores and museums – and, not least, all manner of (re)acquisition and belonging.
