When Artworks Speak. Provenance Research on the Collection of the Liebermann Villa

Tour through the Exhibition or members of our FRIENDS

The collection of the Liebermann Villa on Lake Wannsee comprises over 200 objects, mostly by the Jewish impressionist Max Liebermann.

Past event

But what routes have the works taken since their creation before entering the collection? Might there even be so-called Nazi-looted art among them? These are questions we will be exploring on a tour through the temporary exhibition. At the end of the tour there will be an opportunity for refreshments at the museum café, Café Max (on a self-pay basis).
