The work of BAUHAUS student Marguerite Friedlaender catapulted the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin (KPM) into the modern age - and brought about a turning point in German porcelain history.

Accompanying the exhibition Defiance: Jewish Women and Design in the modern era, in which she plays an important role and objects by her are on display, we embark on a search for traces of her life at KPM. In the process, we also discover her iconic designs, such as the HALLE'SCHE FORM series.
