Foundation Regulations for the Jewish Museum Berlin Foundation

On 16 August 2001, the 14th German Bundestag passed the law on establishing a "Jewish Museum Berlin Foundation," making the Jewish Museum Berlin a federal foundation under public law.

The goal of the foundation is to research and describe Jewish life in Berlin and Germany and to create a meeting place. The influence Jewish life in Germany has in Europe and further afield is another area of interest to the foundation. The structure and role of the Academic Advisory Board are among the points stipulated in the Foundation Regulations.
